Frame from used fence pickets

| When we first moved here on the farm, we had a large supply of used fence pickets and decided to see if we could use a few to frame some wall calendar pictures that we liked. DH used the full-size pickets vertically and cut the horizontal pieces to frame 9 of the calendar page pictures. We left the pickets natural and weathered, but they could also be painted and this would work well with matted photos as well.

| When we moved into our current home, it didn't really fit in any longer with our decor, so I gave it to a relative. In our former home, we had it hanging in our living room above a buffet, and at one time, above the fireplace mantel. |

| I almost burned my wood yesterday- decided to hang onto it for a little longer- thank you! now I know what to do with it! |
