how to remove glued on fabric...

hello,this is my first posting here,hope it is the right place.i inherited an old desk with drawers.the drawers have glued on fabric in them.the drawers smell real bad and i don't like the red color.does anyone know how to remove this fabric from the drawers,i forgot to say that the fabric is felt.thank you for any ideas.

I hope someone knows the answer to this. I need to remove 1970's flocked wallpaper from cabinet wood door panels and this stuff is on there like cement! I don't think wallpaper remover is going to work.

This site is for woodworking, but glue is glue, right? It suggests heat and/or steam, so my suggestion is to try using your iron on the felt, using the hottest steam setting. Good luck!

If all else fails, you might try a bit of Goo-Gone - test in an in conspicuous corner.
