Painting of outside door

How do you decide on a color for your outside door? Do you paint both inside and outside the same color? What kind of paint do you use? I would lean more towards one color for the outside and a different one for the inside, but I am undecided. It is a fiberglass, wood grain door. THe exterior is varigated brick with tan (beige) color. Thanks for all your advise.

The Decorating Forum can help. Link below is thread on painting exterior doors. Also go to the photo gallery and check on exterior pics. Enjoy

Thank you emagineer for pointing lsjtc in the right direction with clickable links and explnations. So much kindness and helpfulness will always be appreciated. Much better than being told "Wrong forum, try "That Home Site" with no help.
One of the great things about T2T and Garden Junk is the mostly helpful and considerate ways of the members.
