folding screen 3 sections 12 openings

Right now I have 10X12 pictures in openings tired of it

want to try something different

any ideas

Oh btw I am new here and have spend almost the entire day

Oh well pizza for supper lol LOVE this place

Depending on where you wanted to use it..you could staple pieces of old quilts to the back or sections of embroidered tablecloths (both which can be found pretty cheaply listed on ebay as cutters). Cork board would be neat too, maybe with sections of blackboard?

I'm sure you'll get more ideas from others here. Welcome to the forum!!

Okay, maybe I have this figured out finally?? All this time I've only been using the kitchen strainer(1/8 very similar to insect screen) to sift all my Bark, crushed granite,Turface and etc. I've had no issues up to this point and the plants have been just great, so maybe the pieces that I've been using were fine up to that point. But after reading here that I really should be using the 3/8 thought I might want to do a better job. I have this plastic nursery thing(thanks Josh)you posted one similar to it and I found one for .50 at a local nursery. It's the closest to 3/8" (sifter) that I can find locally, so I sifted my Pine Bark through this and the pieces that were too large that didn't go through, I removed and kept in a separate pile... These are the larger pieces that didn't go through the plastic nursery thingy... My Plastic nursery sifter... This pile are the ones that didn't go through the 1/8" kitchen strainer(same size as insect screen (Fines Free). I'm thinking I can use the larger pieces for my big pots like for my Mango trees, pots that are 18"-24". What do you guys think...does this look right? Are those pieces in the First picture too larger to use for the "gritty mix" or not? Comments and advise welcome~ Thanks!

It is the wallpaper. I papered it myself and it was one of those 'what was I thinking' happenings. It's paisley and wild. Next to that is the carpet. It was here when I married my husband who owned the house. It's still in decent condition yet thirty years old. (the carpet, not the husband) LOL. Hopefully, both will be replaced soon. (the carpet and wallpaper, not the husband). Other than that, it's a basically very pleasant room and usually kept reasonably tidy.

The house faces north, and this is the side yard, so the fence runs perpendicular to the front of the home. Fence (chain link)is on the west side of the home. It separates us from a next-door neighbor. I'll observe the sun...I have been so far. I'm fine with the height continuing the grow above 15 ft. I'm using the 15 ft as a measurement where the tree may start to slow down its growth, not stop growing...I know they will grow perpetually. I just don't want to put something with a listed height of 30 or 60 feet, as that implies it will get there before slowing down. Otherwise, why would anyone care about a height measurement at all? So, pruning the height is not a concern to me. Pruning the width may become a concern if the tree encroaches on my 11-12' area between the fence and the house thereby preventing the ability to walk through the area. I'm looking for privacy when in the yard too, as the kids may still play in that narrow area...don't need the crazy dude watching them constantly. We can put blinds in our windows for interior privacy. Thanks!

Old handkerchiefs would look neat in a cottagey type setting, also.

I'm getting ready to use something similar to display 10 extremely closeup baby photos of my three kids and seven grandkids. Gonna do them all in black and white and the screen/frame is painted black.

I have had my grandkids pictures in it for so long and really trying to get a cottage or shabby chic style goint!!

Oh, I like the idea of old quilts. I have one of those folding screens too and I'd like to use it to block off my bedroom door from the kitchen. I have some old quilt sections that I made years ago and some old pieces of tablecloths from my Grandmother. I bet that would work!!!

The toile fabric looks great,too :) I have some of that,but no screen! Maybe people will start getting rid of them at yard sales soon!

plexi glass done in a faux stained glass effect will even work in front of a window- privacy and light.

decopage collages on the right size of boards and put in whatever pictures/styles you want-- you could even make ones for the holidays and change the images out with the seasons, too.

scrapbook paper comes in all sort of wonderful patterns now too. And wall paper sections too.

I had a dividing screen that I painted a "brick" wall on and ivy and birdhouses- that could work with each panel being part of the whole image.

the possibilities are endless!
