4 years of collecting

I decided to go around my home and take pictures of how I've used all my junk. I was amazed at how much of it I really use in my home. I thought I'd share. Here's the link.

THank you for sharing your wonderful projects!!! I noted the china/pearls "valance" , How did you do that one?

robolady,
That was a real treat indeed, to see all those photo's. Better than looking through a magazine.....no advertisements. Such great ideas there, that I would never have thought of. Oh, I can't wait for the garage sales to start again. This year, I will have my eye out for anything that I can turn into something......of course I am armed with many good ideas from here.

lindat: actually I've started selling those and they seem to be a hit. You'd need to cut an arch out of (I use masonite)
Then using liquid nails glue the plates as you want them and let it dry 24 hrs. Then turn it over, drill holes in the masonite, where you want to hang stuff and hang your crystals or whatever from the masonite. Hang the tea cups etc in the same fashion. Then use "goop" household glue to attach china to china, like a smaller plate on top of a larger one. It takes awhile with dry time, but it's not that hard.

It's my dream home! I would love to surround myself with things I have made! You're a real inspiration for us junkers, and your blog is one of the first things I read every morning, even before checking e-mail!!

A collector with an organized house! Wow,it's beautiful! I love the porcelain valance as everyone else does. I had seen it in the last couple of days and now I've noted who had posted that picture. It's wonderful. I also love the way you overlapped picture frames. What a great idea. Thanks for sharing! I have to find your blog since reading the post above.

Margo, I loved the tour. That is truly impressive that you have been able to use so many of your creations in your home. And you have everything displayed so nicely--I love it all, you have a real talent for both the creating and the displaying. TFS. Luvs

I've seen your pictures before and I never get tired of looking at them again and again! Thanks for sharing them and all of the links you included. It gave me an idea, once again, of what to do with my shutters that have been sitting in my storage room for a long time. :) A planter box for outside!!!
