Satellite Bird Bath

We had an old satellite dish that was going in the garbage, that is before I got my hands on it. Did a bit of mosaics and turned it into a bird bath. Supposed to be a goldfish swimming in water.

That is soooo cute! I want one of those! Now where can I get my hands on a satellite dish?

That turned out so cute! Great bit of recycling too. Can I ask what you used for the base? Luvs

In the picture the dish is sitting on an outdoor garbage bin that was bought as it matches the blue in the design, but I also kept the original pipe mounting stem that was originally on the dish, so if I want to, can use that also.

Very cool!

My father made a dish for his birds, but I
don't think he's willing to mosaic it.

Very cute!

That's great! May I ask what you used to glue down the tiles with?

I used GE Silicone II to glue down the broken china, and used sanded grout for the grouting.
