I love these plants. They are so attractive. However. . . I don't know if its just me, but they seem to be more fussy than my other pothos. I know, you are going to say this is not a potho, but some sources seem to refer to them as pothos. Anyway, I find that their leaves spot very easily, and get damaged from cold water and/or drafts, especially if they have been misted first. They supposedly like to stay moister than others in their family too, so I water mine a bit more often. Still, I find its not nearly as full as it was when I got it, and like I said, it gets leaf spots and damage if you look at it the wrong way. I don't let mine get any direct sunlight - just good light, since I've read they don't care for direct sunlight. Sorry I can't be of more help. Randi

In my garden: 1. Yes. 2. Different types of Lilies come in turk cap shape. I have one turk cap Aisiatic, a few species and tiger that are turk caps. Here's the order of bloom in my garden, overlapping somewhat: Asiatic - longiforumasiatic- species - trumpet - oriental - orientpet - orange tigers - species. This year everything was out of sync. The asiatics & longiforum bloomed almost at the same time as well as the orientals & orientpets & species. Weird. 3. Trumpets, orientals, orientpets and many species are fragrant. I heard some new asiatics smell good, but I don't know which. 4. Yes. 5. Darker trumpets (Golden Splendor & African Queen) fare better in afternoon shade. Full sun bleaches them. The orientals are OK in fulll sun...could be because a lot of them are white or have white bands to reflect light. Orange tigers do well both in full sun & part shade. They grow the tallest in full sun. 6. Tigers carry virus, so say various sources. I had tigers in separate beds from my other Lilies for many years with no ill effect. This year, many of my Lilies fell victims to virus. The culprits were the newly planted lilies, not from the tigers. 7. My orange tigers face down, therefore turk caps. 8. 6"- 8"-10" depending on the types. Some species come in tiny bulbs. Brilliant yellows I have are asiatics and trumpets. There are yellow orientals-longiforum/asiatics, but mine are not as brilliant as asiatics. same with orange. Golden Stargazer & auratum are yellow and not asiatics. There are other yellow orientals & orientpets as well. Orientpets are fragrant, the blossoms are large, the plants are very tall and bloom later than orientals, thus extending the blooming season. Never tried van Bourgondien, but am tempted, because I had a very bad experience with B&B this spring, besides the bulbs were much smaller than before.

My reply to the post you have about this on KT it makes it very difficult when you post on other places beside computer help, then those of us on computer help are giving you suggestions not knowing that other sources are also making suggestions that you may be trying. It really confuses the issue. Please always let us on computer help know the things you are trying so we know what has been done and what has not been tried. using any windows restore disc is not going to fix this problem it will not bring it back if it was removed. If you meant you might try some type of file recovery you may be able to do that. Have you tried a system restore? That is always my first course of action to try it is fast easy and if it does not work you can always reverse it. In the post you started about this over there you mention doing a few other things please tell us everything you can any bit may be helpful to determine what happened.

If the console is going to be up against the couch, I wouldn't worry about a bottom shelf. You won't need it, because the couch will take the eye through the console and up from the floor in that little bit of space. Plus, with lamps and other items on the top of the table, nobody will see that little bit of floor under the table. Could you post other pieces that will be in the room? Glam but comfortable is an interesting description, but the tv cabinet you have posted doesn't really fit that. Would love to see the colorful chairs. Also as mentioned, it would help to know what size table you need to work behind the couch. What about something like this? It has an antique gold finish on the iron, a granite top, and an elegant but simple design, imo. table
