I recently purchased a nice mid century dining set at the thrift store. Overall in nice condition. I'll reupholster chairs for sure. The wood finish is pretty nice - a little dull overall with a few areas of wear. It doesn't need to be completely refinished. Is there a product that after a light sanding, I could apply over the top to blend and update the finish? Color is good as is. Thank you!

Congrats on a nice find!
If the upholstery is original you might consider putting the new over the old in such a way it could be restored if you ever want to sell to a collector. Kind of dull drab was in for dining chairs then.

I cant remember the name of the stuff I used on my grandmother's bureau, but i suggest you check with the GW furniture forum. (link below)

Good old Old English works wonders on tired furniture. There are also wax based products that are buffed into old finishes to give them new life.

Check this out. Howard Feed and Wax is the product I was thinking of. I haven't actually used it, but this gal gets great results!

Renu A Finish works great on worn wood. Brings it back to its' original state. Comes in different wood tones. You wipe it on, let it set a bit, then buff it off. It's sold at HD and I'm sure other hardware stores.
