Ironing Board on a Wall

I have several old ironing boards. I use one as a buffet in the dining room and one I use in my craft room. The third I decoupaged with pictures of antique irons and hung up on my laundry room wall as a decoration.

RE: Ironing Board on a Wall

Very nice!! I like your washboards too!! Nice place to do laundry. My laundry area is in garage & I have carpeted the area but need to redo the cabinet above them. I'm in Ca. so it isn't cold. DH made a 3 part bin to hold dirty clothes years ago. I stained it fruitwood & holds about 2 loads in each bin. It is heavyweight pegboard on frame that is narrower at bottom & wide at top so easy to reach in & get the clothes. So ends look like large triangle with narrow point edge cut off so about 20 inches at bottom maybe 30 in. at top, probably 36 in high(I ought to measure it!!LOL). The holes in pegboard keep the clothes exposed to enough air so they don't develop odors, but we don't have very much humidity out here. Jan
