Old Ice Skates to Centerpiece

| I had a lot of people coming for Christmas and needed a large centerpiece for my table. I painted a pair of old ice skates, put them on a table mirror (both bought at yard sales) and made myself one.

That is wonderful!! Where did you find the clear snowflakes?? I have been looking all over for just such a thing!! Thanks for posting, and ditto Sunny...please post this on the Holiday Forum. J |

| Thank you all so much. I followed your suggestions and posted on the Holiday forum. Jaybird, the clear snowflakes were a garland I got after Christmas a few years ago. I just cut it apart to get the single flakes. |

Thanks Sue...after I saw yours, I looked at Joann Fabs and found some "flakes" in the scrapbook department clearance! They are mirrored, so will work perfectly. Thank you for giving me the idea!! J |
