New here, sharing a project...

Hi all, I have been a lurker for some time and decided I would like to hop in! I had this horrible dark paneling leading down to my shop in the basement, and a dead space above the stairs, so I "whitewashed" the paneling, and built this indoor front porch to showcase the two antique chairs I have that my great grandfather made.(built it all from scraps laying around the farm here) I think it turned out well for a no particular plan project.
If someone will tell me how to post a picture of it, I will if you would like to see it.

Thanks for all the great ideas!

Becky

Hey, that's really neat! I love the idea of an indoor front porch. Very imaginative, and it turned out great. Love those chairs of your grandfather's, too.

Thanks! I am pretty pleased with it. My DH raised an eyebrow, but now he shows it off to guests!
