an old outdoor lightbulb. I did this several years ago and it is one of my favorite pieces. I keep it in my curio cabinet year round. Hope you like it. |

Thanks yall. He isn't the jolliest guy around but I am getting better at putting a smile on Santa's face. I have to be careful because my husband says sometimes I paint them with a feminine face - you know how painters are, they sometimes paint their own faces on a project without realizing it. But what the heck, I like a pretty Santa.

Your Santa is beautiful. He looks like he is pondering the "evening's flight." Sal

I do like it. I love finding unusual shapes to paint on. That old light bulb is great. I'd leave it up year round as well. It would go with my mistletoe ball. I leave it up year round so I get lots of kisses from my DH. ;D ~Anj

Beautiful face and beard on that Santa. That is a real keepsake! I really admire anyone who can paint on little things so well. Anj--you're so sweet--imagine you would get lots of hugs and kisses even without the mistletoe! ;o) Luvs
