Where to purchase . . . . .

Posted by retiree43 (My Page) on

I am looking for pre-cut, pre-stamped (with pattern) wood
Christmas ornaments suitable for hanging on our tree. . . . for next year of course. I want to paint them with the grandkids during the summer. I live in a small town and can't find anything around here. I've already looked at Michael's and they didn't have anything. Do you ladies know of an online source where I might find something like this ??

Thanks!

Hey retiree....I'm surprised you didn't find them at Michaels. I always see them there. Maybe they were sold out though. I thought Provocraft might have had some, but I didn't see any on their site. There are some on the site below that may interest you. And they are on sale! Good luck!

Here is a link that might be useful: Oriental Trading

Joann's usually carries them as does Walmart & Fredmeyer.

Just a note: If you can't find any, you can always buy some flat blank ones and use iron-on transfers to put a design on. Most people don't realize it but you can apply iron-on transfers to wood.

Joann's had a bunch for 50 cents each. The snowman I got is 4 1/2 inches high. Email me if you can't find them and I'll send some. Let me know.

Hi...try Artist's Club on line. I don't know about the things being "stamped" but they have free patterns that go with the things.
Good luck...sounds like a fun project for summer!!
