OK, I'm new to this site (thanks Luvs) and instead of cleaning house this morning, I can't seem to get away from here. I just wanted to say that you are all so very talented and have such wonderful ideas. I'm sure I will be borrowing a lot of them and hope I can manage to do half as well as all of you have. Sandi

RE: You are all so very talented

Hi Sandi, Glad you came by to see us. These ladies really do paint some wonderful things. Love coming here with my morning coffee to see what they have posted. Hope you found our gallery side, lots more pictures of projects there. Please come by often and join in on any of the posts. Luvs

Hi Sandi~ so glad to have you join us. Yes, we have 6 pages of wonderful stuff over on the gallery side so hope you get over there to check things out as well. There is definitely some great talent here. We hope you enjoy this forum as much as we do. If you are a painter we'd love to see some of your stuff!

RE: You are all so very talented

Luvs & Anj, Thank you both for the welcome. I've been to the gallery, but haven't gotten to see everything yet, but I will for sure.
My DH & a few of my friends (none of whom paint) may think I'm a painter, so I have to make sure they never see this site! ;~)
I've done some stuff over the years, but nothing to speak of. I'm sure visiting this site will give me lots of ideas if not talent. Sandi

RE: You are all so very talented

I just saw one of your posts over on Crafts. I see you are possibly a fellow GRIT (girl raised in the South). I'm originally from MS too. How's the weather there today?? We got six inches of snow here (some areas got 15 inches!!) in Utah yesterday. We will have a white Christmas for sure, but I bet I'll be wishing I was back home. :) ~Anj

From MS

Anj,

Born & raised in Jackson, but moved to very near Wilmington, NC 14 years ago. Most of my family is still in MS though and their weather is always pretty close to here. NO snow! Here in Wilmington they announced that we have less than a 5% chance of a white Christmas. 72* & sunny here today!

I'm from a little town called Liberty. About 3 hours from Jackson. Just as I figured, beautiful weather. It only snowed twice that I can remember (enough that it stuck) growing up. I moved to Utah at 19. I miss winter in the south. Thanks for the update. :) ~Anj

RE: You are all so very talented

Hi, Sandi, I am also a "GRITS". I was born and raised in Pensacola, FLorida. Today the weather was around 75 degrees and I love it!! I sat on my swing without a long sleeve shirt - stayed there as long as I could but had to come in to do some work. But I am addicted to this website, so instead of working I am checking out what all the girls are painting. We have some great talent here and I love being able to talk with others who have the same passion I do. Hope to see some of your items posted soon. PF
