| What is your favorite finish for painted wood? How about tin & glass...Please share bad experiences so I can avoid them TIA |

| I am not sure I understand your question about finishes. If you mean the type of finish I use after I have painted the wood with acrylic, then my favourite is Krylon Matte or Kamar(gloss), neither one seems to make ink run. I have had bad experiences with other sprays so I stick to these two. I have also used it on acrylic painted tin. I make sure there isn't any dust on the surface or in the air, like major sawdust flying around. I spray outside on dry days, rainy days can have too much moisture apparantly, and your stuff may dry tacky. Good luck with your finishes. |
