| So far I have found very few sites that have good and easy freebies on them. I have completed a few. I've run out of things I like. Does anyone have any good sites? |

| I found some... http://www.deltacrafts.com/Paint/DecPainting/ http://www.decorativeartist.com/daw_project.asp http://www.artistsclub.com/projects/projects_list.aspx?dgtype='FP'&tit letype=Free Projects http://www.tole-expressions.com/freestuff/index.html And I found this site that sells primed metalware for painting. I thought it looked interesting. |
|
| Gosh there are tons, here are a few of the ones I have saved to favorites: www.decoart.com www.northpolechristmas.com www.christmasfreebies.com (coloring pages and more. I'll be using the coloring pages now that luvs has shown us how great they can work for patterns) http://home.att.ne/~DLeddy/free.html www.createanddecorate.com (has a new free online project every month and sometimes it's a paint project, you just have to check back every month) www.busybee.ns.ca/links/freebies/htm www.deltacrafts.com www.decorativeartist.com www.freecraftsayings.com www.paintworksmag.com (one free project each month) www.mypaintpalette.com (1 free) www.michaels.com (go to craft painting tab then decorative painting) |
|
| You got me thinking about it and wondering if there were any new ones that I've missed. Here are a few more I searched out today. Some only have one freebie on them, but it might be that perfect pattern you've been needing! www.holmanpublications.com www.maplehillcrafts.com/freepatterns.html www.freecraftz.com www.freecountry.com www.ladybugcreations.net www.paintingonjars.com (we've already talked about this one) www.decorativepaintingstore.com |

| I'm really glad I asked this question also. I haven't had a lot of time recently so I have been browsing a little bit here and there. Some sites I have been to before and there were a lot I had not. They look rather interesting. It's always good to have someone elses perspective. When I get more time I will continue on. |

| Luvs and the other two people that responded thanks for all the info on the free pattens. That is alot of places to check out. Have any of you ever painted on glass before? I thought about trying that out to see what it looks like. Thanks again. |

| Bumping up so we don't lose this. |
|
| I scanned thru the posts and didn't see this one. I came across it tonight and there are 2 free online issues of the Decorative Painter magazine that have quite a few free patterns in them. You just have to go to the pages and open them up. ~Anj http://www.decorativepainters.org/dpissue52006.php |

| Lots of pretty things there. I see that they are letting us view the mags temporairly. Didn't find any free patterns, but lots of good ideas. And if you click on the membership info, it gives a list of participating businesses with even more pics. I think PF belongs to the Society of Decorative Painters. Think she said she has collected these mags for many years. They have some wonderful painters contributing. Most projects are way above my skill level, but they do also feature some for the not so experienced painters too. Wonderful "eye candy" and lots of great ideas. ;o) TFS Luvs |
|
| Luvs~ did you look thru the pages of the magazines because there are lots of patterns in there and you can save them. I saved a few of them. You do have to have Adobe Acrobat Reader to view them though. ~Anj |

| Gosh, Anj, I just went there to check out the bunny and only found cats. Says the page was updated today--do you suppose they took it off? Luvs |
|
| Hey Luvs, the rabbit one is at the puddles of paint site. I linked it up below for you. I thought you'd like it because you can incorporate the one stroke roses on it. That other link isn't working now so I guess you just have to go to www.sweetpatoodies.com and then go to free pattern. I liked the fall leaves one. |
