Oil Painting Mediums

Have any of you used Copal Painting Medium? I have always used linseed oil and turp in my paints, but I bought some of this medium yesterday. The one I bought is made by Grumbacher. I have a friend that swears by it. I haven't tried it yet since I'm in the middle of a painting, but I'll use it next week when I start a new one.
Hope I like it. It was $6.00 for 2.5 ounces.

I haven't used it. Let me know what you think of it.

I use turp in the underpainting and linseed oil (or linseed oil and turp mixed) in the top layers.

I've always used the turp and linseed oil as you do too, Rhonda. I haven't tried the bottle of Copal yet. I'm running behind on the painting that I'm doing now, but I'll let you know how I like the Copal when I use it.

Haven't tried it YET. We've been on a trip and getting ready to go on another one and I have this swamp scene that I wanted to finish.... still not quite finished.
I will finish it when we return. I have four commissioned paintings to do for January so I'm sure that the bottle of Copal will be opened and used! These are four paintings that I HAVE to do! LOL
