New Here

It took me a while to find where to post a new post lol. I have been away from painting for 5 years because I have been quilting. I am getting ready to start my first love of painting, in the meantime, I am also looking for a pattern by Michelle Walton of a rooster and chicken. I would purchase or exchange, I have lot of patterns by many artists. Here is a link to my stuff if it is permitted to post it here.

RE: New Here

Hi Rosie, I took a look at your link, you are a very talented artist. Both your painting and your quilts are wonderful. I'm sorry to say that this forum doesn't have much activity any more. You might enjoy clicking on the Gallery section and looking at some of the projects that have been posted in the past though. I haven't painted in quite awhile, but am currently working on painting a santa on an old wooden ironing board. I'll post picturs when it's done. Hugs, Luvs

RE: New Here

Thanks Luv, I have pulled out a bin of gourd bowls and will start on those to get back into the swing of things. It's too bad that about the activity about tole painting on this board. I know painting has died down a bit, but as all things, it will come back.

RE: New Here

Hi, Rosy and Lovs!

Rosy, your paintings are lovely. I just started following your board on Pinterest.

I will be retiring in a few months, and expect to get back into painting and quilting. I need to remember how to post photos.

RE: New Here

Oh good we can start something lol. I have basecoated all the gourds and am waiting for some paints to arrive from David Jansen. I want to try his techniques. I will post once I get started.
