painting countertops to look like granite

I'm redecorating on a budget and want to TRY to save our current kitchen countertop, by painting a faux granite design and then sealing it. My husband has his own contracting business and brought home some old countertops so I can practice first. I haven't seen this topic anywhere on the net. Does anyone know how to do this or a web page that could help me? THANKS! SadieSadie

Look in the section The House and one of the forums listed there is Home Decorating. I bet they could help you and it's more up to date then this one. Hope this helps you!

I researched this awhile back as I was thinking of doing the same thing. Please see the link below for ideas.
