From lightbulb to Santa - lots of pics

Posted by paintingfool (My Page) on

I thought I would share with you how I paint my lightbulb Santas. I wasn't able to get all the pics because I would forget as I was painting. I had captions for each photo but this slideshow would not let me post them and I don't know how to insert a slideshow on this forum. Anj, if you know how, please let me know. It is much easier than posting individual pictures. Thanks, oh, I had to post on my blog so hop on over to see the pics.

Bebe.........F A N T A S T I C ! ! ! ! ! If only we could paint so fast! I love the ear muffs on the snowman! And all of those Santas, each starting out the same but each finished one with it's own personality.

Thank you for sharing!

Love your Santa's! How do you put the hangers on them?

Thanks, Belle,
Luvs, some I soldered the hanger on but mostly I use hot glue to glue ribbon on both sides and then to add the trim around the top. So easy.
Back to painting even at the hour.

That was Heartsandcrafts that asked about the hangers, but I wanted to know as well.

My laptop won't load flash player, so I could watch your video. However, I did catch up on all your posts that I hadn't seen yet. You've been a busy gal, painting so many cute things with santas and roses. ;o)
