Belle...Thank you so much for this link. I have printed the patterns. I love the Monarch Butterfly.

I am also going to look for the Magikote that you use on styrofoam. I saw an article about attaching river-washed pebbles or mosaic stone pieces to styrofoam balls but you had to use tile adhesive. I might try using this Magikote and GE II instead. The finished product was very pretty. (I would post a picture, but my scanner is not working right now.)

These items are called Mosaic Garden Spheres by Kathleen George and they are in the June 2004 issue of Create & Decorate. Maybe some of you have the back issues.

I wanted to tell you that from the Garden Junk forum, I learned to use old baseballs and the GE Silicone II and cover them in the half marbles or the small stones. Bought both at DT. Mine have been out in the yard for about three years and are doing fine. The one I tried with a styrofoam ball did not hold up well even though I had "sealed it with glue" first. I also have old bowling balls covered the same way and one I painted to look like a ladybug and gave to my neighbor. The balls are cheap at the ts.

Luvs...Thank you for the info re: styrofoam balls. Maybe old baseballs would be the better way to go.
