What sealer do use for outdoor painted items?

I'm in the process of painting a bird house, and I'd like to try actually using it outdoors. I have regular acrylic craft paints (Folk Art, etc.), and I also have some enamels. Would one be better than the other? When I'm finished, what should I coat it with?

I have a can of Folk Art Clearcote Extra Thick Glaze, and two cans of Minwax water-based Polycrylic--one in satin finish and the other in gloss. Would any of these do the job?

Thanks!

I just discovered that I also have a can of Krylon Crystal Clear Acrylic Coating.
