Wood furniture sold at craft stores like AC Moore

I figured you folks might be the ones to ask, since this furniture seems to be sold specifically for decorative painting projects.

I've seen some small unfinished furniture pieces at AC Moore--a telephone table, a drop-leaf side table, etc. The largest item I've seen there is a cupboard maybe about 4-5 feet high. It's not the high quality unfinished stuff sold at places like Pop's Unfinished Furniture (or around here, Howard Hill), but it's good enough for my purposes and a LOT cheaper.

What I'm looking for is a tall corner cabinet, with closed storage below and open shelves up top. Has anyone seen this kind of thing at other craft stores, or do you know the name of the company that supplies AC Moore?

Thanks!

You might check with AC Moore and if they would tell you the name of the company who makes them, or check with a local cabinet shop, or if you have a college or high school with a wood working shop some some could help you out.

Yes, in Kentucky I see them quite often. I can't mail you one but, I can tell you to go to AUCTIONS. There are several there. It depends as to what type of wood it is made of. Pine...something you can paint...usually goes for a $100.+/-. at auctions. We have oak store in Kentucky too and they have these corner cabinets going new for $150-250.
Cherry, Walnut etc. you have to dig deep in your pockets; the older and taller it is, the deeper in the pocket.
Have you tried yard sales, advertising in classifieds or on a local radio swap shop program?

I hope your still viewing this spot.

Happy Hunting!
