Question about surface conditioners

| I've been priming glass with a surface conditioner before painting on it. The bottle lists isopropyl alcohol as the only ingredient. If that's all it is, I'm sure I can buy isopropyl alcohol a lot cheaper from the pharmacy. Does anyone know if there's another ingredient they're not mentioning?
