crackling on top of crackling

| I crackled something, using white as the base coat and green as the top coat. It worked great. However, I want to switch it now. I want green as the base and white as the top. Can I just go ahead and start with the new base coat? thanks. |

| Robyn, how big of a project did you crackle? If you prime first you have a better chance of it turning out ok. I've recrackled before and it doesn't come out as sharp as the first time. It will look splotchy. Does this make sense? I would sand it off and start over if it isn't too much work. Hope you will share pictures of your project when your finished. Punk |
