I want to tole on the small wooden cut outs for refrigerater magnents. Can not peel the barcode stickers off. It needs to be non greasy so that I can acrylic paint over them. Has anyone had any experience with this?

RE: stickers on wood

I use the wooden cut outs too, and I just scrub it off with soap and water. It helps if you have one of those green scrubbers that are rough and abrasive. It comes right off. I usually make the sticker side the back of the piece. Hope this helps.

RE: stickers on wood

I use Undo or Goo Gone Sticker Lifter. They both get stickers off easily from any surface.
