Pumpkins Then & Now

For sometime I have wanted to paint the reverse side of these pumpkins that I painted in about 1990...My how things have changed since then. I tried to keep the colors and design the same and that was fun!

Don't know if you can see the blackish areas....that is mildew that formed under the sealer...can't imagine why! But the sealer looks great. Just lightly sanded and painted right over everything.

The new version will be great from Fall till after Thanksgiving. I often do both sides of my pumpkins too, one side plain and the other as Jack o lanterns. I love all the flowers, leaves and vines on these. ;o)

Very nice. I do that with my pumpkins too. Like being able to have them out longer! Those look like a nice size. ~Anj

Great job on finishing the other side. I'm not one to get the other side painted more than a solid color. I have so much I want to paint on that I never take the time but you've made a great choice so you will be able to leave these out. They are such a cute treo for now and will be nice later.
