Exciting news!!!

We are adding a member to the family!!! I am pregnant :) The kids are all so excited and so are we. But we sure will have a house full now....my 3skids, bioson, and new baby!!

On a side note I mentioned to bm's parents she has not been around in months and all of a sudden bm texted me today about Christmas ideas for the kids. I texted back that I was surprised to hear from her all of a sudden!! Haven't heard anything back since. But really after the birthday blowoff incident she pulled on ss I am still furious with her.

When we told the kids about the pregnancy ss said "finally I will be a big brother". It was sweet, but sad since his bm has 3 small children and he does not feel like a brother to any of them since he never sees them.

I got it from a local place. I think it is from a place in Mayaguez: jardin eseneida It didn't have a variety name or anything. It was growing a branch from below the graft that I was tempted to leave on the tree, but decided to cut it off. Who knows, maybe the seedling fruit would have been great.

nut, I'm not sure if you intended your question for me, but I'll jump in. You raise an interesting thought, in the following way. Many people don't bother to make recovery disks, and indeed they really don't need to, because so many (most or all?) PCs ship with a recovery partition on the hard drive. So take a PC with Win7 on it. A year from now, the user does the free upgrade to Win10. If the offer for upgrades to Win10 from earlier versions is time limited, then the recovery sector is of no use. In that case, it would be essential to make Win10 recovery disk for each PC. I don't know if that guess describes what the state of affairs will be, or if something else may happen. Might PC manufacturers put out updates for the recovery sectors? I'm sure more will be said about this topic by the normal sources when the time comes.

Some exciting new growth

If this was my plant, this is what I would do. I would carefully remove the plant from the plastic pot. Do not disturb the roots to the new growth. If possible remove some of the old potting media from the older roots, but if that is difficult, forget it. You do not want to damage the newest roots in any way. Place the plant in a slightly larger pot, clay would be best. Use small bark if you can find it (you can order a small bag on line). If you can't get small bark, use an orchid mix from one of the big box stores. Soak the bark mix overnight before repotting. Carefully place the plant in the new pot without disturbing any new roots. Water well and place the plant in the brightest spot in your house or outside for the summer (shady/bright, not direct sun). Fertilize with each watering at half strength. If all goes well, you should get flowers from that new growth this winter. Jane

I'm so happy for you! When I saw your post heading and who it was from I was so excited and was hoping that that was what the "Exciting News!" was!!!! That is just great happy news!

I hope that physically you're feeling decently; you're probably walking on air right now! Make sure you get enough rest with the holidays coming.

I guess it's too early to cyber-pat your tummy yet; I'll wait until it gets bigger. :-)

Thanks girls!! We are all so excited about this! I am a little nervous though....its been 13 years since I was pregnant because I had my DS when I was barely an adult. I told DH that I feel like everything will be new to me because I dont recall what I felt when I was pregnant before. Honestly my pregnancy with ds breezed by and I worked full time and went to school full time until weeks before my due date.

I am so happy for you! Congrats! I'm sure you will fall into the pregnancy just fine.

One thing I've noticed with my friends that had babies in their late twenties or early thirties, as opposed to myself who was 19 when I was pregnant, is that they worried WAY more about little things. Seriously my friend (not a high-risk pregnancy, either) called her doctor when she was like 2 months along to ask if it would be okay to go to a U2 concert. LOL! I went to about 5 concerts when I was pregnant and never once thought to ask my doctor's permission. I just did it!

Try not to worry to much about the little things that you didn't worry about so much when you were younger.
