| Sorry, but I am having a hard time figuring out some of the abbreviations used in these forums! I get some of them... but need to ask about the main one that stumps me...
What does the "D" stand for in DH, DD, DS, and so on???? I'm assuming the rest of the abbreviations go something like this: SD= stepdaughter
anymore I am missing or not understanding???? |

| Usually D stands for "dear" but there are those times when it can certainly be something else....;) Looks like you got the rest. Can't think of any others right offhand. |

| LOL... I saw that one too and really liked it! :-) Thanks! I figured D = dear... but figured I would check for sure! |

| justnotmartha, yep my mom thinks it's pretty funny too. But not nearly as hilarious as she thinks it is to ask me repeatedly when I'm going to give her grandkids. (this is her idea of a joke. this woman has no shortage of grandkids. 5 of her own, 5 of Dude's, and one or two kids of her exchange student she had for a year that she "counts" as her grandkids too, although she doesn't actually know the kids since they live in sweden) yes, my family's weird. |
|
| I'd rather be weird and have character than be blah. Blah is blah. |
