| I am now a certified diver! I got my scuba certification over the weekend!
I took the class 3 weeks ago, and this past weekend went to a quarry in Illinois for my open water dive. It was a fun little trip, we left Fri. evening and came home yesterday. I completed 4 dives over the course of 2 days. I have done resort courses in the Carribbean before, but diving in freshwater was definitely an experience! I am proud of myself for doing it but think it's safe to say I will NOT be diving in freshwater again, WAY too murky for my comfort level! We dove in 5 ft. visibility, no thanks! Anyway, I am excited b/c diving adds a fun element to any trip we take! |

| Congrats!! Scuba diving is so much fun! I can't wait to go to the Carribean again this summer as DD is finally old enough to get certified. |

| How fun!! Just curious where in Illinois did they have you dive? I have friends and family in Illinois we visit often so I am just curious if it is somewhere I have been. |
