| Just had to share, although I haven't visited this site for a long time. I had two of my stepkids call me today and ask me for their mom's phone number. Apparently she changed her number a few months ago and hasn't bothered giving them the new information. I couldn't help them because we no longer have to deal with her since the kids are all grown and gone. |

| No, not strange, weird, uncomfortable, or awkward. Like I said, it's typical. I was the one who raised the kids and she was the one who always had a reason not to be with them. When I first met my husband, this kind of thing seemed odd, but 15 years later, it's just the same old, same old. I'm used to it, and unfortunately for the kids, they're used to it too. It's sad, but at least they know they have me and their dad:) |
