FINALLY - a New Stained Glass Project !!!

Hi Ladies !!! I took a long break from glasswork . I just wanted to dabble in other things for awhile. I had a long "creative slump" ....I didn't think it would EVER end - but working on other things got the juices flowing . My DH retired as of Yesterday --- and my craft room is the perfect place to hide .*** hehehehe***

Anyway - I made a stained glass mailbox . There's a real gap in the mailbox market , unless you're using the rural type. I'm a city girl - this will hang right next to my front door !

I really don;t need a cover - it's out of the wind & weather . I'm mounting it to a white wooden board - then mounting that to the house. Hopefully - I'm on a roll now :)

Wow that is absolutely beautiful work! I especially love the vining of leaves on the front. You are amazingly talented!! I'd be afraid to put anything in it! LOL

I'm in the mood to " Construct " things out of glass . I Love 3-D . I think my brain is "Finally" working !!!

Wow, what a beautiful mailbox! If I were the mailman I would be so careful when I placed the mail in that -- It is gorgeous. This could translate to making beautiful business card holders and tri-fold brochure holders for the reception areas of businesses. I have never seen such a lovely mailbox!

LOVE it and LOVE to see you again!!!! I Love 3D too and have a stained glass book of whirls that I have always wanted to do, I can't remember if you were into making them or not, it has been so loooong! Maybe you will inspire ME and we'll both be posting stained glass stuff on here again!!!
