I've developed a system for me to create mosaic patterns out of digital images to get a photographic quality in the final product.

Here's an example of a mosaic. Note that this particular image is completely done with a graphic editor, but it still shows how the final product would look:

This seems really cool. I was trying to figure out how to mosaic an outdoor pic. I had with the right shading so you could really tell what it was. This process seems like it would make it much easier and take some of the guess work out of shading. Thank you for posting.
