Nipping beads in half

Here's an odd little tip that some of you might like.

Say you have a round bead that you would like to incorporate into your mosaic design. You can position your Lepponit wheeled nippers exactly in the middle of the bead, with the wheels lined up in the same direction as the hole.

Nip, and voila, you have two half beads. They work much better that a full round bead because I find that no matter how well I glue them down, they tend to break free and try to roll away when I grout.
