A friend was telling me I should try broken glass (from bottles) on the old windows I just got. He said I could pour a clear substance on it and have it be completely clear with the glass designs and no grout. It sounds like an interesting idea to me I just have no clue what kind of clear substance to use that will hold up both indoors and outdoors. Does anyone know what I could use?

I imagine he's talking about the resin that several on this forum use. It's a two-part liquid that covers it all up. Haven't tried it myself.

not all of the resins are good for outdoor use so choose carefully

Some where I have read where it yellows in the sun light.Texfern uses it a lot.You can usebroken bottles I have done a lot and grout them .Here is a mushroom I have done.
