WHOOHOO! �All the info is up on the website and registration opens November 1. �I'm going to TEXAS!!!!

You do have to be a registered member of SAMA and membership fees are $65 a year. �The conference fee is $225 and then of course, if you take classes, all extra. �

But the presentations alone are worth going for and with your $225 they are included! �Sophie Drouin, Rhonda Heisler, London artist Gary Drostle (going to discuss his latest huge project...right here in IOWA...the 500 sq ft floor mosaic depicting the "River of Life"!), Australian artist, Pamela Irving, Sherri Warner Hunter (love her!) and the Panel Discussion with George Fishman, Jean Ann Dabb, Emma Biggs, Jennifer Lewis, Sonia King, Jo Braun and Nancie Mills Pipgras.

You get to attend the mosaic salon and see many, many marvelous mosaics that are for sale and then the BIG show (artist reception) will have the most fabulous pieces on display to drool over! �The entire time you are mingling with "all the famous" mosaic artists...it is sooooo much fun! �

And on Sunday there is the Austin Mosaic Tour to see Ocean(egg)graphy by Dianne Sonnenberg and includes visiting the home of James Edward Talbot to see Casa Neverlandia plus much much more.

Then there will be the fabulous vendors with all the new "stuff", and the mosaic marathon everyone can help with, and the Brown Bag Exchange and the goodie bags....just goes on and on! �It is five days of total submersion into the mosaic world!

All well worth the cost. �If you are thinking about going....JUST DO IT! �I would love to meet up with any of you there!
