| I found these beautiful blue rocks with purple swirls about a year ago and din't know what to do with them Then I found some purple stained glass with blue swirls and a game plan finally came together! I made this cross as a wedding gift to my hairdresser. She loved and evidently so did her relatives as I've been asked to make 3 more! Only they will have to be different as I used all my blue rocks

Hi oldcrafty - No, mine are not concrete. I use MDF bases. I really need to get some pics on the forum and share what I've been up to. I'll make it a goal this week!

You do such neat work, CRAFTY. Very pretty - your edges are so smooth. I love making crosses too, but usually put them on another substrate. Do you make the substrate? How's your grave project coming?

Thanks Slow. Yes I have a mold and pour my own crosses. After curing 10 days or so I can work on them. I bought all my pavers for the cemetery project and attached the plow and then came to a halt again. It's been too hot to work on it. I'm glad it will soon be getting cooler cause I'm anxious to jump in and get started.

That is one project I'm anxious to see, girlie. Sounds like a huge undertaking. From what I can imagine, it might give me pause to tackle such a large project. I'm REALLY looking forward to watching your progress.
