IOWA Glass Artists

Just a quick note to inform you of an exciting new development for all glass artists in Iowa. There has been a movement to form an IOWA Glass Guild, comprised of all types of Iowa Glass Artists.

It is currently in the start up stage. We are having a first gathering on October 4 in Des Moines, Iowa at 1 p.m. at 324 NE 64th St. Jolene Eriksen will be the hostess.

Discussion will be on how to proceed with this guild. Anyone interested?

I'm brand new to this forum having pestered the life out of the kitchen and appliance forums. Looking for backsplash advice here and saw this post. Wondered if anyone was in the Mason City/Hampton area.

I am in New Hampton, which is about 50 miles from Mason City. Where do you live? What kind of advice are you looking for? There are many great mosaic artists on this site that may be able to help.
