Has anyone used tiles made out of Polymer Clay in their kitchen backsplash?

Pardon my ignorance, but do those tiles last,without chipping or changing color? I have no experience with longevity of a Polymer Clay project.

I'm in the process of making six 3-D, 2x2 inserts out of Sculpey III. Those should not get any splattering, or heat.

I would like to make one, 6x6, to go directly behind the stove. THIS one I'm concerned about. For a final step, I was planning on using STUDIO by Sculpey glossy glaze and bake it afterwords. I want to make sure the tiles are as strong as possible. I hope I don't overdo it.

Anyone know if I would have a problem with this?

The rest of the backsplash will have ceramic and glass tiles. I know those are durable.
