I bought some styrofaom balls and some lightweight acrylic gems (circles, starts, diamonds etc. all colors very Blingy) for the grandkids to make Christmas ornaments. They will glue, I'll grout. My question is do I need to do a thinset slurry over them or will they except the glue and grout as they are? Please advise they are anxious to get started gluing!!!!! I'm sure before this is over we'll have BLING everywhere!!!
