Newbie with questions

Hello all~

I'm new to this forum, but have been a garden junker for a while. I'm interesting in finding information on how to make one of those "stained glass" type windows where colored glass is actually broken and put onto an existing window. I've seen them done with drinking glasses, dishes, etc. and they are usually made to hang. Seen lots of nice patterns. The glass is not all flat, it has a lot of texture to it. There is some sort of clear glue/silicone poured over the entire design that seems to hold it in place. Thanks for any guidance or comments!

RE: Newbie with questions

Welcome here Marlene! I Love doing GOG(glass on glass) I use clear silicone(outdoor) and depending on what you want to use and if you want to grout it(to make it resemble stained glass) you can give us info and "WIP"(work in progress) pics, and we'll encourage you along!!! Here is one I did using small bottles and I used marbles stacked on top of each other for a 3d effect for the grapes.......

Here is a link that might be useful: Grape/Bottle Window
