terra cotta planters

Finally got around to grouting them (the DRY mix--I did not use one drop of water to clean up). I painted the rim of the one pot because I'm lazy and it had curves. The other is self explanatory. Now I need flowers!

Here is a link that might be useful: Rosie's planters

Hey Rosie, I just love your artwork! The pots are gorgeous, to say the least, but I always enjoy going back to look at your other work. I LOVE the guitar, but I also really like one of your first works, the flower pot. It's so sweet and great color! Your imagination is awesome. I aspire to be as creative as you one day!

Thanks all. I haven't been doing much lately because of gardening so I really needed to get back into it. I'm percolating an idea for my torso. Just not sure how to execute it.

NT: Send me an e-mail (it's under "my page") and I'll tell you what I sold things for.

Great stuff, ROSIE - eye-popping color combos and nice cuts and designs. About time you showed us some new stuff. Yeah, gardening and company - that's my story too and I'm sticking to it. In a mosaic slump.

Your pots are so colorful Rosie. I loved looking through your album at all your projects, I don't remember having seen any of your mosaics before.
I would also be interested in knowing what you sold your stuff for too.

LITLBIT: Re the painted rim: If you look at the inside rim you'll see a cobalt blue which was the base coat. I then took a straw color and a bunch of metallics and dry brushed on many acrylic colors--greens, periwinkle, amethyst, copper and lastly with gold. If there was too much color I took a dry rag and smudged it til I got the look I wanted.
CraftyLady: If you post your e-mail I'll let you know re prices. Feel kinda funny about listing them here.
