Finally starting a project!

| I feel silly submitting this so early on, and it doesn't look like much yet, but I'm excited to finally be working on something!
I really like this green color, but I ran out and no one carries it anymore (I think it was called artichoke green). So now I am pondering what other colors to use on this; I only have so much to choose from right now. So this is on hold until I order some more glass! But I am happy with how it looks so far.
It's my first project that isn't a flat surface; the only thing I've ever made was a table top, and that was using a grid, so this is new to me. I need to find a way to prop it up while I work on it so that I don't damage the pieces I've already glued down. Any suggestions?

| Hi Judy, I know next to nothing about mosaic, but it looks like you have a great start. Can't wait to see what other colors you put on it. |

| I use a bowl with a towle in it to cushion it. I do this when I work on BB.Hope this helps. Very nice vase, to bad about running out the color. |

| yep, I was gonna suggest the folded towel in the bowl trick too LOL I love what you've done so far! |

| How pretty, and I love your design. I find that placing a box on top of my Lazy Susan to hold things helps a lot. Only suggestion on other colors is to have high contrast so your beautiful design shows. |

| Thanks for the advice! Bowl and towel, got it! I was considering a dark purple, but was worried it would be too contrast-y. Otherwise, I was also considering a medium amber glass. My SIL wants me to use blue, but I'm not sold on that idea. Decisions..... Judy B. |

| Very nice start! LOVE your design! I'm partial to purple with green, maybe a nice lavendar wouldn't be such a bold contrast? I like the towel in a bowl idea, now why didn't I think of that? Thanks for sharing your pics...looking forward to seeing more! |
