| I want to make a mosaic bottom on this old metal chair. It's all metal with a metal bottom. Can I just thinset the bottom and attach the tiles or do I have to do any prep?

| A perfect project! I'd brush it with a wire brush, and get out the thinset! Have atter!!! |

| I really love the style of your chair! With the metal mesh like seat, the bond with the thinset should be ideal, if you smooth out the stuff that gooshes through it underneith. That looks like such a fun project! |

| I have some purple, pink and yellow tiles so I was thinking about trying to make flowers on it. If I can find some pale blue tiles I think that would look good for the background. I sure hope I don't mess it up. If you don't see a picture then I messed up. LOL |

| That is gonna be cool...I am really drawn to the circle on the back of the chair. Can't wait to see what it looks like when finished. |

| Thanks, I've been outside breaking up tiles and trying to make tile flowers but my flowers always look like they're made by a first grader. LOL |

| Carol, that is one cool chair. It will make a perfect mosaic project. I am sure the flowers will turn out great. You're just like the rest of us. Keep finding fault with our projects where others say "what's the problem?"" you go girl!! Sure wish I could come to the mosaic party. Would have it still lived in texas |

| I don't know if I'll save this project till we have our get-together or just jump right in. Mermaid, I wish you did live closer so you could come. Thanks for the encouragement. I guess if it looked too perfect everyone would think it came from Hobby Lobby...LOL |
