RE: Is there a difference between premixed grout

Pre mixed grout contains mastic which over time can dry up and shrink. Dry grout cures by a chemical reaction started by the addition of water, similar to cement. If its premixed, there is no way thats how it works-you wouldnt be able to stop it from setting. I would never use a premix, Ive seen it fail.

RE: Is there a difference between premixed grout

I have only used the premixed mastic, didn't even know they had premixed grout!
