Daisy, I have not used TG on a BB yet, but my answer to you from my experience with other glues would, yes sand the BB. I'm not sure what results you'd get under the TG. You could paint the BB. Any color would work. Or you could oaint the TG before application. Definitely use GEII for outside. I have not had good luck with weelbond on a couple of pavers and BBs'. I would say yes, butter the TG with GEII, then apply to BB. Good luck Daisy and make sure to post some pix. I have been thinking of a TG BB, but have not yet attempted.

Daisy, when I did my TG BB, I sanded it lightly then painted it with acrylic paint. I glued my TG with Mac Glue but in your case if you don't have Mac glue I guess GE II would be the best because it is good for outdoors. Have fun doing it! Wouldn't it be fun to be able to work on this together though?

I sand my bowling balls.........make sure the oil is off...scrub them good.....rough them up! Weldbond is a NO NO...........GEII windows and doors/and I have had good luck with Liquid Nails for outdoors.......this is what I do...... Good luck!
