Do you know if aquarium glass is tempered?

I have access to some, broken up into large pieces. I thought, well if it broke up like that, could it be tempered?

If it's not tempered, is there another use I should rescue it for? (Oh, bad grammar. For which I should rescue the glass sounds snooty....)

no its not tempered. TG will not break into large sections, any break would shatter it into crumbs. Clear glass can be useful, try playing with alcohol inks on it and try laying it on mirror,,, amazing things happen with that transparent color
