| Is there really any difference in color theory in mosaic than in any other kind of art color theory? I have not been able to discern any from looking at many many mosaics, but so many workshops really push "the color theory of mosaics" but aside from workshop descriptions, I don't really find anything. |

| I don't think so. Certainly people have difficulty with it in mosaics because the palette can be very limited as opposed to mixing paints. As in my recent pique assiette - I had to really squint at the shards to see the differing values in all the prints... |
