| I have a vintage stained glass window in its original oak frame, measures 24 x 58. It is pretty heavy. I am trying to figure out how to hang it over an existing window without ripping out the window frame. When I tried hanging from c hooks screwed into the window frame it made the window frame sag a little bit on one side and I got scared to leave it there. What is the best way to hang this gorgeous stained glass? |

| If I were attempting your project, I'd find the wall studs across the window - they are 16" apart, put in the hooks. You might have to attach a heavy gauge wire on the back of your vintage window in order to achieve a stable hanger. Pictures w/help. |
