Second project

Hi all,

You were all so helpful last summer when I did a mosiac table as my first project. I decided to try stained glass mosaics and procrastinated for months...started and stopped a few times, was afraid to grout. Here is the finished product. The picture isn't the best quality, but you get the idea. You all have me so inspired to do so many projects...lamp in the works now, bowling balls to come for spring.

Meadel, the parrot is probably paper mache...from a set of earrings I bought on a whim and never wore...which means I have another parrot for another project!

I am now seeing everything in terms of whether or not it can be mosaiced. My mother's outdoor table broke in a wind storm and when I saw her sweeping up the glass I claimed it...this from an avowed "thower awayer". I can see how people end up needing to build themselves a studio to contain all the stuff.

Wow! That is such a great frame! I love the mix of tess and the picture is awfully cute, too! Sweeping up broken glass, seeing that anything can be mosaiced...yep, you're bitten...there's no turning back now..welcome to the broken side, LOL!
